Fees & Insurance
Each individual therapy session is scheduled for 50-55 minutes. Fees are consistent with other mental health professionals in the downtown Chicago area. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. If you need to make a cancellation, please contact me no less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This allows me to schedule individuals who may be on a wait-list for that week, and helps you avoid cancellation fees.
There are four different options:
1) Insurance: I am in-network with BlueCross BlueShield PPO. If you’d like, I can help by checking your benefits to see what your copay and coinsurance are so there aren’t any financial surprises. You can call at (312) 729-5258 or contact me here.
2) Out-of-Network: Do you have a different insurance? No problem! I am more than happy to provide you with a form for possible reimbursement from your insurance company. This means that you are responsible for the fees at the beginning of our appointment and your insurance may reimburse you a percentage of that, depending on your particular plan. Give me a call or contact me here and we can find out what your “out-of-network” benefits are.
3) Private Pay: If you would rather not use your insurance and pay directly out-out-pocket, you absolutely can. All fees are due at the beginning of each session.
4) Sliding Scale: I believe that everyone should have access to high-quality therapy, no matter what their financial situation is. As such, I also offer sliding scale fees through an amazing organization called Open Path. There’s a one-time fee that clients must pay with this organization.
